Riazat Hussain has more than 25 years of hands-on experience in the field of visual communication with the development sector, NGOs, INGOs and International donor-funded projects and programs.

His passion is hand-drawn portraits (Pen and ink/Pencil/Dry Pastel). In his portraits, you can see the real character of that particular personality. Capturing personality is an exciting challenge. A great artist knows how to capture personality, and it is not impossible. All it takes is attention to detail and genuine care about your subject as an individual.

He is committed, trustworthy, and responsive, taking immense pride in delivering quality work. He is enthusiastic about building a long-term partnership with his clients. He began his freelance journey on Upwork a few years ago.

𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:

MFA (Graphic Design) with a dissertation in Computer Animation, BFA (Graphic Design), and a specialized course in ” Education and Extension Support, from The Netherlands.

𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲𝘀:

Presented portraits to high officials and dignitaries and got awards and appreciation letters.

• Commissioned a Portrait of Quaid-e-Azam that is exhibited permanently at FJWU, Rawalpindi.

• Participated in all Pakistan National Millennium Exhibition of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts organized by Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) at Alhamra Lahore.

• Participated in 2nd Potohar Youth Arts Festival by PNCA.

• Participated in a group show (FRESH VISION) organized by the Pakistan National Council of the Arts.

• First Prize in all Pakistan, “ Life-Colour Portrait Competition”.

• Solo exhibition of hand-drawn portraits in the Netherlands.

• Participated in an exhibition, Creative Expression by Young Innovators by PNCA.

• Participated in a TV program “DARAKSHAN” as an outstanding artist
